Because these are authentic, field-grown blooms, they have a fleeting and delicate lifespan once cut. To guarantee they arrive safely, your roses are hand-wrapped in protective greaseproof paper and dispatched fresh from local fields. They will arrive as a mix of a few open flowers and plenty of tight, fresh buds.

Follow these essential conditioning steps immediately upon delivery:

• The Golden Rule (Debudding): Because these roses move quickly, you will likely see a few fully opened flowers on arrival. Always gently debud (remove) these open flowers first. Removing the dominant, open blooms redirects the stem's energy and encourages the remaining tight buds to open beautifully.
• Clean and Snip: Give the stems a clean, diagonal snip with sharp shears to maximize water uptake.
• Strip the Foliage: Strip any lower foliage or thorns that would sit beneath the water line to prevent bacterial growth.

• Rest: Keep them wrapped in their greaseproof paper in a cool, dark room for a few hours to hydrate fully before styling. Always keep them away from direct heat, bright sunlight, or drafts to prevent premature opening.
