Where there's flowers there is hope - and let us hope as much as we can for the current situation worldwide to improve.
Last week we donated some boxes of Daffodils to brighten up some dull days and give a bit more hope to communities across the UK. Flowers are a fabulously mindful product for making people feel better and with the situation in #Ukraine affecting so many people worldwide, we have to use what we have to help where we can.
The blue and yellow heart I made has been travelling around the local outlet shopping centre to raise awareness for one of the stores which is a collection point for Ukraine. This week we will have Strong Gold Yellow tulips on the bulb for those of you wishing to make yellow and blue Spring wreaths.

Tulips on the bulb - We think it adds great interest to the offering and they last and last without much water at all; especially if kept cool ! Great for shop window displays! This week there will be Yellow Strong Gold as well as Laptop and a new Bi Colour.

Daffodils (St.Davids Days)

Daffodils are in full swing. we will have Lincolnshire grown St Keverne, Ice Follies and Barratt Browning this week which means delightful doubles are not far away at all :)

Narcissi are getting to be less as the crops march on - it is a 'watch the weather' situation and if it continues mild and sunny they will be very scarce for Mothers day. At the moment good supply of White Avalanche and Soliel D'Or.
Hyacinth

Hyacinth continue and there's plenty - blue, pink and white. Please also note that the stem count has increased from 25 stems to 30 stems per bundle.

Hellebores are steady this week - light levels have been low.

Pre-Order Mothers Day
We now know the varieties of tulips that will be available so the pre-order will be posted online in the next week. There will be specials ‘Davenport‘, ’Fabio’ and our all time favourite - double peony type ’Columbus’
Please do remember pre-orders will only be applicable for particular delivery days. The list will include all the key products for Mothers Day including the imported products. Keep an eye on the Trade Facebook group for updates.

Delivery Days
We are introducing SATURDAY as a delivery day as standard so those of you who need product to be ready for a Monday morning can have a weekend delivery. This product will leave us on Friday and will need to have an order placed by Wednesday latest... (unless of course you call and check the stock on Thursday...:)

Mothers Day Planning
In addition for the weekend before Mothers Day we will be doing Sunday despatch for MONDAY delivery - this will enable you to split your order and get foliages etc early so you can start prep-work. Please also remember if you would like plants (trolley delivery ONLY) you can add flowers, sundries etc to your trolley order. Tulips will be in water, ready to use, you will not need to condition, this is to reduce packaging and save you valuable time.
Daffodils and Narcissi for spring mixed bouquets will also be on pre-order.
Indoor with leaves will continue and these are a longer stem length - do not cut - they are perfect for including into spring bouquets. They can be mixed with tulips easily if you don’t cut the white section off the base.
