Crop Report May

PEONY PARADE !!

Thunder, lightening and deluges of rain overnight with strong sun during the day and temperatures of 20c + Mother Nature does it every year and we are all working at pace chasing Sweet Williams and Peonies. Somehow it always settles down after the first earlies are off the fields and as everyone welcomes back the parade of peonies that are here for such a fleeting moment in time!

NEW: Scented Pinks - lots of lovely regal purples, pinks are coming  Cornflowers, field grown Delphinium white and blue.

BOOM the season has started! we will just get going and have a mini holiday to celebrate the amazing achievement the Platinum Jubilee !!

NOTE: It is a very short week after next week so we will need orders in early for the Tuesday and Wednesday delivery days. PLEASE advise Wednesday this week so we can get ahead!

Get your red white and blue bouquets out there !!

Jubilee Recipe goes like this .... select a focal, filler and secondary flower from the list below, each colour way - blend together, create bouquets and post on socials. Don't forget to add on your British Flower tags to label vases and to attach to bouquets - this way you can highlight the flower story, provenance or simply the percentage British in the bouquet!!

  • WHITE: Scented Stocks, White Alliums
  • BLUE: Cornflowers, Delphinium, Iris
