Crop Report

 Autumn's Here!

It definitely feels like Autumn ... couple of dried hops are adorning our packhouse wall, Rosehips are arriving soon and we even have had a few Christmas foliage samples sprucing up the place! Gourds and pumpkins plus mountains of dried flowers everywhere!!

Moss is fresh and green and ready for your Autumn Wreath workshops :) Pumpkins parties next!

NEW Phytocarpus Diabolo - lovely Autumn foliage to add point of difference to your designs. 

NEW Celosia Plume - Zingy Orange, Purple and Strong Pink add some pops of colours

Plenty of choice this week from the fields GladioliBrassica, Aster and Sunflowers and from glass houses some fabulous quality Snaps and Lisianthus - perfect for those Autumn weddings! 

  • Sedum - looking fab as its moved to pink - HUGE Heads bigger than Hydrangeas!! 
  • Lisianthus - some lovely premium grade - super quality 
  • Antirrhinums - good supply but some gaps in batches
  • Sunflowers - getting chilly last week! 
  • NEW SEASON Pittosporum/Bottlebrush - good supply from Cornwall 
  • NEW SEASON Alstromeria - Good supply Cornish and Norfolk 
  • Aster - 2 weeks left 
  • NEW SEASON Gourds - started coming in white have arrived :)
  • NEW SEASON DRIED - Plenty in stock - request if you need something not on the shop
  • Rosehips - coming this week - almost!!!
  • Grasses - plenty of Setaria 
  • Pink & White Snowberries LOTS!

  • Hypericum Brown and a bit of the pretty pinky coral this week

  • Brassica returns to the mix - use CVBN in the water to reduce the aroma :) They are green at the moment as colour becomes more intense after frost. 

  • Matricaria adds mini button-like texture to bouquets and is a great filler. Cream /white and buttery yellow. Single Vegmo back in c2 weeks 

  • Eryngium Blue Lagoon good supply - slowing down in volume due to heat/light levels - order in advance if you need lots.

  • Carthamus  - slowed up and very green 

  • Gladioli - good supply

  • Lilies ... LA - yellow and orane,  Longi in Pink and White - Orientals also Pink or White and Rose lilies in Pink and white too.

  • Gypsophila White continues although limited

Brassica - alternative varieties - do remember the colours show after a frost so quite green at the moment. Chrysanthemum sprays. MORE FOLIAGE!
